Dimraeth Classes, Races & Archetypes

Dimraeth officially combines eight races with six classes for 48 distinct Archetypes. The complete roster and individual mechanics have not yet been published, so this guide separates confirmed structure from launch-pending details.

Confirmed at a glance8 races × 6 classes = 48 Archetypes. Each pairing is described by Steam as having its own skill tree and playstyle.

What the six classes mean right now

The official store page confirms that Dimraeth has six classes, but it does not currently provide a complete, stable list of their names, weapons, starting tools, or progression paths. That means a page promising a class-by-class tier list today would be speculation, not a useful guide. This hub keeps the confirmed number visible while leaving the missing names as pending information.

One September 2 Steam Community announcement refers to a new class called the Shadow as planned Early Access content. That announcement is evidence of a planned update, not proof that the full launch roster is already playable. Until the Steam page or an official game guide publishes the entire lineup, treat individual class recommendations as TBD.

For a first character, the only safe planning rule is structural: your choice will be part of one of 48 race-and-class combinations, and the pairing is intended to influence both a skill tree and playstyle. Save any irreversible choice advice for when the game’s in-client descriptions and official patch notes can be checked after release.

What is confirmed about Dimraeth races

Steam states that Dimraeth includes eight races. It does not present a complete, unambiguous roster with individual bonuses on the current product page, so this wiki does not fill the gap with names pulled from old concepts, unrelated games, or community guesses. The number is confirmed; the detailed selection screen is not yet documented here.

The same September 2 announcement calls out an Elf as a planned Early Access addition. Like the Shadow reference, it should be read as scheduled content rather than a live, fully documented option. Its attributes, unlock conditions, and interactions with the six classes remain unresolved as of this page’s verification date.

That restraint matters for a pre-release character guide. A race label alone does not establish stats, resistances, story access, or a “best” pairing. When official details arrive, this section will turn into a roster with directly sourced traits and an update date for every entry.

How the Archetype system is described

The official description calls every race-and-class pairing an Archetype, producing 48 combinations from the confirmed eight-by-six structure. It further says each pairing has its own skill tree and playstyle. This is the clearest published model for understanding character identity before Early Access: a class is not the whole answer, because the selected race is part of the combination.

The term does not, by itself, confirm a stat formula, a respec cost, starting level, or a complete spell list. Those details are deliberately not inferred here. A practical way to use the information today is to identify the kind of role you want to test after release, then inspect the actual Archetype description before committing a build.

Dimraeth’s store page also states that players can equip five spells at a time from a pool of more than 300 spells. That number supports the idea of varied playstyles, but it does not establish which spells belong to which Archetype. The upcoming build hub will keep spell-slot facts separate from unverified class assignments.

A safe pre-launch planning checklist

Start by deciding whether you want to explore solo or with a group; the official page supports online co-op for up to eight players, but does not tie any class to a required party role. Next, use the Archetype count as a reminder to read both parts of the pairing when the game becomes available. Finally, check the current Steam page and official announcements before relying on a launch-day guide, because planned content may change.

Do not assume cross-platform play, a console version, specific race bonuses, or a finished tier list. None of those claims are confirmed in the current official materials. This page will replace its pending markers only with sources that identify the affected race, class, or system directly.

Pending roster details

Full class names, the full race list, unlock conditions, individual skill trees, balance roles, and recommended pairings are all TBD. As of September 8, 2026, no official source reviewed for this page supplies enough complete information to publish those details responsibly. The page will be updated after launch material can be verified against the live game.
