The player count and world-state split are confirmed. Cross-platform play, matchmaking details, subscription requirements, host rules, and network troubleshooting are not yet verified.
Confirmed co-op structure
The official Steam page describes Dimraeth as playable alone or in seamless drop-in/drop-out co-op for up to eight players. The official website likewise calls it a 1–8 player fantasy RPG where players can fight together or alone. These statements support a maximum online group size of eight, not a claim about local split-screen, public matchmaking, or cross-network play.
“Drop-in/drop-out” describes a flexible online co-op model, but the published text does not give a complete invite flow, host migration rule, connection requirement, or difficulty-scaling formula. Until the live game and official support material identify those details, this page leaves them pending instead of borrowing generic co-op assumptions.
What travels between worlds
The Steam description makes an important distinction: a hero’s level, equipment, inventory, spells, and personal progression travel between worlds. Story progress, recruited allies, and buildings remain tied to each world. This is the strongest verified guidance for planning a group: your character can retain personal growth while a host world retains its own shared state.
The statement does not define every edge case. It does not say whether guests can place or remove buildings, how quest rewards resolve, whether world settings are shared, or what happens during disconnects. Treat those as questions to check in the released version rather than rules already confirmed by the product page.
Cross-platform and subscriptions
No official source reviewed for this wiki confirms cross-platform co-op, cross-save, Game Pass, PS Plus, or another subscription-library status. Steam / Windows PC is the only confirmed platform. A game supporting eight online players does not automatically mean it supports console-to-PC play or that a platform subscription is required.
For launch-day planning, make sure every player is using the same confirmed platform and verify the current patch/version before troubleshooting. This hub will add cross-platform or subscription guidance only when an official platform announcement states it directly.
